WHAT IS PIECES MEMBERSHIP?

Being a PIECES member means that you will be a part of a community of visual and performing artists and aspiring artists that are within your age group (between 18 to 25 years of age). This will offer you opportunities to collaborate and learn from your peers. PIECES members also have access to:

 

• Classes and workshops

• Studio space use

• Tutoring in art subjects from experienced volunteers

• Resume writing and interview skills assistance

• Professional career and business development advisors

• Performance and artwork display opportunities

 

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM MEMBERS?

PIECES expects it's members to:

• Act responsibly and professionally at all times.

• Support their peers and the organization.

• Participate in monthly meetings and activities.

IS MEMBERSHIP FREE?

There is no membership fee. All of the services and resources that we offer to you (classes, workshops, tutoring and studio space) are donation based (you give what you can, when you can for the services you receive).

 

We encourage members to support their organization by making a donation. Donations help PIECES continue to provide its services and bring in more opportunities for all members to benefit from. 

 

 

DO I QUALIFY TO BECOME A PIECES MEMBER?

We are excited to welcome new members to our growing family of PIECES artists. Becoming a member is not hard at all. To qualify you must:

 

• Be between 18 and 25 years old.

• Have an interest in the arts, but you DO NOT have to have a background in an art discipline.

 

 

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

The process of becoming a member includes simply sending us an E-mail at Info@PIECESarts.org to request a meeting/orientation with either Lalo Marquez (Founder) or Monica Moreno (Co-founder). During your meeting all of your questions about the organization, classes, workshops, rules, and expectations can be answered for you. So come prepared with a list of the things you want to know!
